ENGLAND 2018
PROJECT
We were asked by the England 2018 Bidding Nation Team to produce a range of promotional merchandise to be given away at various events in the UK and also during the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. The items were to be given to children, adults and also VIPs.
SOLUTION
Obviously, we couldn’t supply one product to suit all recipients. So we created sets for each demographic. For the children we supplied different design football scarves, various coloured printed t-shirts, baseball caps and button badges. Adults received pin badges, pens and leather hand tied coasters, (pictured) with the VIPs receiving premium pens and hand-made Italian calf leather moleskine notebooks packaged in exclusive branded wrapping.
THE MIDLANDS MUSIC FESTIVAL
PROJECT
Having successfully undertaken and delivered for the 1-day pilot event in 2009, we were delighted and excited to be commissioned by the organisers to produce a wide range of merchandise for the 2-day festival.
This was a really exciting project as it allowed us to showcase our full range of capabilities.
SOLUTION
We produced the official 44-page printed programme, lanyards and passes, access wristbands, as well as promotional items such as bespoke rubber moulded keyrings, printed t-shirts, embroidered polo shirts and baseball caps and much more to boot to make the event go with a swing!
SHEFFIELD FOOTBALL CLUB
PROJECT
In 2007 Sheffield Football Club, the World’s First Football Club, celebrated their 150th Anniversary with a series of high profile events. To promote the celebrations and the unveiling of the 150th year kit we were asked to produce a plinth to give a photo shoot a different dimension.
SOLUTION
Clearly, this demanded more than an off-the-shelf solution. After meeting with the Club, we were asked to produce two life size Subbuteo-style bases. We already had experience and first-hand working knowledge of large scale production after providing a 2m polystyrene foot for ARC, so revelled in the opportunity to provide another unique bespoke product. We really enjoy unusual projects, so don’t be afraid to ask, you may be surprised by our answer!
KING ECGBERT SCHOOL
PROJECT
In January 2011 we won the contract to supply the official school apparel to King Ecgbert secondary school in Sheffield.
SOLUTION
Many companies might treat this as merely a straightforward garment supply, but at Glue we go further, and we provide a comprehensive product and service to our clients. This involves the engaging of the pupils in the order process, and delivery of the goods through a shop held in school every two weeks and operated by the pupils under our supervision.
Integrated with this activity, we provide the school with visuals, interactive forms and support to take the strain out of the whole process for the client.
